Located in the new section of Waurn Ponds Shopping Centre this region is one of the fastest growing areas of Victoria, due largely due to its proximity to the Surf Coast with its lifestyle attractions including Surf Beaches(Bells Beach), The Great Ocean Road and the Otway Ranges.
The store is the only bookstore in the entire complex, and the site is very secure, with a long term lease in place with consecutive 5 year terms, and with the disappearance of Borders and Angus & Robertson from the Geelong region recently, there is excellent growth potential.
Run as a family business since start up in November 2007, the store has seen steady sales growth, and now has a loyal and growing customer base, including many school and commercial clients, with room for further development in this area.
The owners are ready for retirement and health issues have brought forward the sale of this much loved shop. The new owner will have the ability to take this site to the next level with rapid growth in the area, the only bookstore in the centre and growth in sales to support them. The current owners are ready to assist you in a smooth take over of the site and are prepared to work with the buyer for a period of time.
