We are delighted to re-schedule our event with Julia Baird. Her book Phosphorescence was released as Coronavirus took hold in March of this year. The subject matter resonated with many readers. Julia describes how we can find and nurture, within ourselves, that essential quality of strength and joy, which will sustain us even through the darkest of times. Her book was number one on the non -fiction bestseller list for many months

In Phosphorescence Julia speaks to forest therapists in Japan, jellyfish scientists in Tasmania, sound-trackers in America, Indigenous elders in Arnhem Land, storm chasers, street artists and poets, billionaire bankers in New York and priests in Colorado. And, completing her quest for phosphorescence, she eventually finds it in pitch-black seas in the bay at the foot of the hill she lives on.
