RoundUp

'RoundUp' is an important, ongoing way we raise funds for Dymocks Children's Charities. When Dymocks customers make a purchase at a Dymocks store or from the Dymocks website, they have the option to make a voluntary donation to the charity by 'rounding up' their purchase.

This money is used to ensure more children can take part in our programs. Since January 2018, over $50,000 has been raised thanks to RoundUp alone! This money has enabled us to provide more books to kids who need them.

How RoundUp donations help kids

RoundUp helps us provide more books to kids. In 2018 we worked in a record breaking 168 locations all around Australia, from Penrith to Perth. Here are just a few examples of how we have been able to help :

  • Fairfield Public School received $7,000 worth of books for their library.
  • Gunawirra House received $4,000 worth of books for their library.
  • Muswellbrook South Public School received $8,000 worth of books for their library.
  •  Walla Mulla Children's Services received a Duck Library for their preschoolers.
  • Hospital School South Australia recieved $2,600 worth of books for the school to use with students who attend school during a hospital stay.

We get so many letters of thanks from children who receive our books.
Here is what Ella aged 9 from NSW told us:

"Dear Dymocks,  you have really inspired me to start reading because I never read before you have started giving books. Because of you I can read..."

If you have made a RoundUp contribution, thank you from the bottom of our hearts, it plays a vital role in our ability to help more children around Australia.
