HOW DO I EARN BOOKLOVER REWARDS POINTS?
When you make a purchase with Dymocks, you earn Booklover points. These points add up until you’re ready to use them and can be redeemed in store or online.
You can earn and redeem points in store by presenting your Booklover card or by quoting your mobile number at the counter. To earn and redeem online, you will need to log in to your online account here.
WHEN WILL I RECEIVE MY ANNUAL BIRTHDAY BONUS?
If you register your birthday to your Booklover account and are email marketable, your bonus will be added on the 1st of your birthday month and will expire on the last day of the month.
For example, if your birthday is mid June, then your birthday bonus credit will have been automatically added and ready to use on the 1st June. It will then expire on the 30th June.
WILL I EARN BOOKLOVER POINTS FOR EVERY PURCHASE I MAKE?
Yes, unless you are purchasing a Dymocks gift card. Booklover Points are earned when a gift voucher is spent instead of when it is bought. This is because gift cards are a form of tender. Although the points will not go onto your Booklover account, the points will be added to the Booklover account of the customer receiving and spending the gift voucher.
You will also not earn Booklover Points for the cost of online delivery charges and e-books.
CAN I REDEEM MY BOOKLOVER CREDIT ON ANYTHING FOR SALE IN DYMOCKS?
Yes, except for the purchase of Dymocks gift cards and e-books.
DO BOOKLOVER POINTS EXPIRE?
When a Booklover account is inactive for over 18 months, the Booklover Points on the inactive account will expire the following end of financial year. This means that if a Booklover account is unused for over 18 months and becomes inactive in May, all the Booklover Points and credit on that account will expire at the end of the following month.
WHERE CAN I FIND MY BOOKLOVER NUMBER?
Your Booklover number is a 16-digit number starting with 308505. This number is located on the back of your Booklover card beneath the barcode. If you do not have a Booklover card, you can also find this number along with the rest of your personal details in the My Details section of your online Booklover account or in the footer of your Booklover Rewards emails.
WHAT DETAILS ARE NEEDED TO CREATE A BOOKLOVER ACCOUNT?
We ask for your mobile number so that if you ever misplace your Booklover card, you will be able to quote your mobile number at the store counter so that you can still earn and redeem Booklover points.
If you register your email address on your Booklover account, you will:
- Be able to login to your online account with your email address
- Receive your Birthday Bonus credit automatically
- Stay up to date with email notifications from us about your Booklover account
- Receive emails about upcoming sales and events
- Quote your email address in store if you ever forget your Booklover card
HOW DO I BECOME A BOOKLOVER GOLD REWARDS MEMBER?
When you first sign up as a Booklover, you will have a Classic Booklover membership. If you spend over $500 within a consecutive 12 month period, your account will be upgraded to Booklover Gold Rewards.
WHO SHOULD I CONTACT IF MY GOLD BOOKLOVER CARD HASN’T ARRIVED?
Please email your postal address and Booklover number to firstname.lastname@example.org so that we can assist. Our Gold cards take about a month to order, personalise, create and mail out, so in the meantime until your new Gold card arrives, you can still use your current Booklover card. It will still connect to your Gold account and you will earn Gold member points.

WHO DO I CONTACT IF I AM EXPERIENCING ONLINE LOGIN DIFFICULTIES?
If the Booklover number on your online account does not match the number on your Booklover card, if you have forgotten your online password or username, or if you’ve never logged into your account online before, please email email@example.com with your Booklover number so that we can assist you.
