A DELICATE BALANCE Dr. Cameron has officially retired from the practice, leaving Dr. Neil to face a diagnostic and personal crisis while Dr. Finlay suspects causes other than cancer may have contributed to the death of a patient. HOME TRUTHS Brenda Maitland's parents have returned to Tannochbrae after thirty years in India and give Dr. Napier cause for concern because they seem to be concealing something about their daughter. 2. ALL JOCK TAMSONGÇÖS BAIRNS When a wartime hero dies of a heart attack, the villagers of Tannochbrae are under the false impression his death was the result of typhus and take revenge on the Irish farm workers they blame for bringing the disease to the area. 3. DAYS OF GRACE When Janet discovers a day old baby girl on the doorstep of Arden House, Dr. Napier prevents Dr. Finlay from notifying the authorities as she believes she knows the identity of the mother. 4. A SIMPLE OPERATION When Dr. Finlay goes on a walking holiday in the Highlands, his break takes an unexpected turn. Meanwhile, Dr. Napier is perplexed by the erratic behaviour of a newcomer to Tannochbrae. 5. MERCURY A young wife believes she has contracted syphilis from her husband, but he is devoted to her and neither have been unfaithful. ItGÇÖs also the 40th anniversary of Arden HouseGÇÖs opening and Dr. Finlay has a surprise party planned for Dr. Cameron. 6.
