Our top ten best-selling books this week, 20 July edition

In news that will surprise absolutely no one, Go Set A Watchman has leaped into our top ten and landed in first place. It’s been 55 years since its predecessor was published, but that didn’t stop people rushing out to pick up their piece of publishing history. In fact, records were smashed!

It is also the first time in history that two books by Harper Lee have appeared in our top 10.

Our top ten best-selling books for the week ending Saturday 18 July were:

1.     Go Set A Watchman by Harper Lee
2.     Aussie Grit by Mark Webber
3.     Mindfulness Colouring Book by Emma Farrarons
4.     To Kill A Mockingbird by Harper Lee
5.     The Little Book of Calm Colouring by David Sinden & Victoria Kay
6.     Grey by E.L. James
7.     Down the Rabbit Hole by Holly Madison
8.     The Girl on the Train by Paula Hawkins
9.     Paper Towns FTI by John Green
10.   The Magical City by Lizzie Mary Cullen

We’re so thrilled to see that Mark Webber has come in second place after topping our chart last week—Mark has visited many of our stores across the country and has met countless fans. Here are some more photos of Mark with our Booklovers:

There are once again three colouring books in the top ten, which makes us wonder how the top ten will shape up once Johanna Basford’s Enchanted Forest and Secret Garden are both back in stock.

This list also marks The Girl on the Train’s twenty-first consecutive week in our top 10. Wow, Paula Hawkins. Just wow.
