Our top ten best-selling books this week 9 November edition

In big news this week, there is only one adult colouring book in the top ten. ONE.

There's the tenth book in an international best-selling kids' series. There's the memoir from one of Australia's greatest sporting heroes. There's a new novel from a well-known Australian author and actress. There's a new historical epic from Australia's favourite rugby-player-turned-author.

And only one adult colouring book. The wonders never cease. What a great week to be reading!

Our top ten best-selling books for the week ending Saturday 7 November were:

1.     Old School (Diary of a Wimpy Kid Book 10) by Jeff Kinney
2.     Legacy by Tim Cahill
3.     The Lake House by Kate Morton
4.     Lost Ocean by Johanna Basford
5.     The Crossing by Michael Connelly
6.     Everyday Super Food by Jamie Oliver
7.     Spirits of the Ghan by Judy Nunn
8.     Career of Evil (Cormoran Strike Book 3) by Robert Galbraith
9.     Girl Online: On Tour (Girl Online Book 2) by Zoe Sugg
10.   Fromelles & Pozieres: In the Trenches of Hell by Peter FitzSimons

Unplugging and going 'old-school' sounds like it could be fun, right? That's what Greg Heffley thinks in the tenth instalment in the Diary of a Wimpy Kid series, but as his town voluntarily goes electronics-free Greg realises he isn't cut out for an old-school world. In light of recent real-world social media discussion, Kinney's subject matter is quite timely. Presented in an easily-accessible middle-grade style, we're not surprised to see Kinney's tenth Wimpy Kid book at the top of our charts this week.

Tim Cahill has kicked off an impressive Australian tour to celebrate the release of his memoir, and with many tour stops still to come, you have a chance to meet one of Australian soccer's biggest names. For all further tour details, click here. Be warned: hundreds and hundreds of people have been attending these events, and line wait times can be up to three hours. Make sure you get in early!

Judy Nunn's latest novel has been released recently and is currently on sale for the very festive price of $19.99. Judy is also touring this month, and you can find her tour details here. Want to know more about the book? Listen to Judy discussing it below.
