Our top ten best-selling books this week 6 June edition

As we correctly predicted last week, the return of Jojo Moyes to the top of our best-sellers list happened quickly.

With ten short days left until the theatrical release of Me Before You, you’re now starting to run out of time to read the book before you see the film.

It’s an easy book to read in a single sitting, but we definitely recommend having a box of tissues on standby. You know, just in case you need a tissue or two… or twenty.

Interestingly, half the books in our top ten this week are books for younger book lovers. There’s a picture book, which is the oldest book in the list this week at 34 years old, two books for middle-grade readers, and two thrilling reads for young adults.

It warms our hearts and puts big smiles on our faces to see an even split between books for adults and books for younger readers.

Our top ten best-selling books for the week ending Saturday 4 June were:
1.     Me Before You (Film Tie-In Edition) by Jojo Moyes
2.     The Girl on the Train by Paula Hawkins
3.     All the Light we Cannot See by Anthony Doerr
4.     City of Mirrors by Justin Cronin
5.     The World’s Worst Children by David Walliams
6.     The Hidden Oracle (The Trials of Apollo Book 1) by Rick Riordan
7.     The Last Star (5th Wave Book 3) by Rick Yancey
8.     The Dry by Jane Harper
9.     Dear Zoo by Rod Campbell
10.   Super Good Skills (Almost) (Tom Gates Book 10) by Liz Pichon
