How often do you get the chance to do something you love for a living? It’s rare, but it’s very rewarding.

That’s why I’d like to take this opportunity to tell you a little more about joining the Dymocks Franchise Owner network.

To begin with, it takes a special kind of person to be a Franchise Owner. You need to genuinely enjoy interacting with people. We’ve found that the owners who are particularly successful spend time with their customers, helping with recommendations and advice.

Customer service is the key.

So to help you get started, we run an initial training program covering all of our systems and processes.

Then we have a retail operations team, structured on a regional basis, to provide you with ongoing support, as well as a team at head office.

Our well-executed, centralised national marketing program supports the brand throughout the year and we offer advice for local market advertising activity and promotions.

The regional Franchise Owner meetings and our annual conference provide opportunities to share knowledge and experience as you “network” with your fellow Franchise Owners.

But perhaps one of the most exciting things about becoming a Dymocks Franchise Owner is that it provides the best of both worlds: the independence that comes with ownership of a business while being part of a greater team.

With the strength of our brand, the great range of ever-changing products and your love of literacy – the possibilities are almost endless.
