Online entry: To enter, simply pre-order one or more copies of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows books (ISBN 9780747591054 or ISBN 9780747591061) in a single transaction at a participating Dymocks store in Australia or New Zealand between 13/4/07 and 11:59pm AEST on 4/8/07 and fully complete and submit the online entry form at www.dymocks.com.au or www.dymocks.co.nz

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these Conditions of Entry.

2. Entry is open to Australian and New Zealand residents. Employees and the immediate families of the Promoter, participating Dymocks stores and their agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible to entre.

3. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and to disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry process or who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Conditions of Entry. Incomplete, indecipherable, or illegible entries and unrecognised purchase receipt numbers will be deemed invalid. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.

4. Limit one entry per transaction, regardless of the number of books purchased in that transaction.

5. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for late, lost or misdirected entries.

6. Promotion commences 13/4/07. Entries close at 11:59pm AEST on 4/08/07. The Major Prize Draw will take place at 100-104 Reynolds St, Balmain, NSW 2041 on 14/08/07 at 10am AEST. Winners will be notified by mail and the names of winners will be published in The Australian on 17/08/07. The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

7. Major Prize Draw: The first valid entry drawn from all entries received will win a holiday prize for two people offered by Harvey World Travel Franchises Pty Ltd and Visit Britain. This prize constitutes; two economy class flights from the winners nearest capital city to London and return, associated taxes, three nights London accommodation in a four star hotel, two nights Scotland accommodation in a four star hotel, two nights Wales accommodation in a four star hotel, three nights England accommodation in a four star hotel, seven days hire of a medium sized manual motor vehicule, a seven day Great British Heritage Pass for two people, two day London Passes for two people, a three day London Visitor Travelcard. Additional accommodation, spending money, meals, insurance, passports, visas, transport to and from departure point, additional transfers and all other ancillary costs are the responsibility of the winner. The winner may choose to add extra travel arrangements, but any travel arrangements over and above the prize as specified in these Conditions of Entry are the sole responsibility of the winner. Prize must be booked by 31/12/07 and taken before 30/06/08, is subject to booking and availability. Some blackout dates may apply. All travel is subject to the terms, conditions and restrictions imposed by Harvey World Travel Franchises Pty Ltd and Visit Britain. No cancellations, changes or refunds are available once the booking is confirmed. The major prize is valued at AU$13,000 depending on point of departure, and is not transferable or redeemable for cash.

8. The Promoter has the absolute right to nominate the airline for travel to London, the hotel in each relevant country and the make and model of the vehicle to be hired.

9. Frequent flyer points will not be accrued.

10. The Promoter may conduct further draws at the same place as the original draw as are necessary on 4/12/07 at 10am AEST in order to distribute any prizes unclaimed by that date, subject however to any written directions given under any relevant lottery legislation.

11. If the winner of a prize is under the age of 18 years, the prize will be awarded to the winner's nominated parent or guardian.

12. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any tax implications that may arise from the prize winnings. Independent financial advice should be sought.

13. The Promoter shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or for personal injury which is suffered or sustained, as a result of taking any of the prizes, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law. It is a condition of accepting any prize that the winner may be required to sign a legal release in a form determined by the Promoter in its absolute discretion.

14. If for any reason this competition is not capable of running as planned (including but not limited to) infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupts or affect the administration security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this competition, then the promote may (where necessary with the approval of the relevant lottery authority) modify, cancel, terminate or suspend the promotion.

15. The Promoter is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer on line systems, servers, or providers, computer equipment, software, technical problems, or any combination thereof, (including but not limited to) any injury or damage to participants or any other person’s computer related to or resulting from participation in or down-loading any materials in this competition.

16. Any costs associated with accessing the Dymocks website is the entrant’s responsibility and is dependent on the Internet service provider used. Any contact details entered incorrectly on the website shall be deemed invalid.

17. The use of any automated entry software or any other mechanical or electronic means that allows an entrant to automatically enter repeatedly is prohibited and will render all entries submitted by that entrant invalid.

18. In the event of war, terrorism, state of emergency or disaster the Promoter reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the promotion, subject to any written directions from any authorised lottery Department.

19. Entrants’ personal information will be used for the purpose of conducting the promotion. Entrants’ personal information may be disclosed to State and Territory lottery departments and winners’ names published as required under the relevant lottery legislation. By entering the competition you consent to the information you submit with your entry to be entered into a database for the administration of the competition and used by the Promoter and its prize partners, Harvey World Travel Franchises Pty Ltd and Visit Britain.

20. Entrants consent to the Promoter using the entrant's name, likeness, image and/or voice in the event they are a winner (including photograph, film and/or recording of the same) in any media for an unlimited period without remuneration for the purpose of promoting this competition (including any outcome), and promoting any products manufactured, distributed and/or supplied by the Promoter.
